2nd time staying here. Had no TV working on both occasions. I was told that the complaints manager would contact me as the issue could not be rectified. But no contact has been made so far. It’s a nice hotel but it seems they have issues with there TVs

Hotel very run down, maintenance non existent. Cobwebs hanging from ceiling above bed. Dust everywhere, unable to see out of windows so dirty. Crack in bathroom sink, bath stained and dirty. One bed was stained terrible down the side. On the up breakfast was lovely but tables very sticky so crockery sticking. Apparently this hotel was/is used for homeless people?

From smelly hallways, to super outdated rooms, still with super dirty rugs, doors that dont even close… staff very unpleasant. Had to ask for a paid upgrade. Looks like property never been renewed… Shower was dirty, shower curtains mold (in upgraded room yjat cost extra$50 dollars). Beds were very very uncomftabke… It looks that never been renewed Only thing 10/10 is pool.

Great amenities. Good room and comfy bed Nice pub with good food. Good Leisure center. Fantastic staff Downside not enough hot water at room due know problem by hotel ... :(

It is the only hotel within the walls of the fortified town. Friendly, efficient staff, helpfully changed my room when l did not like the one first assigned to me. I found both balcony rooms quite gloomy. The light comes in through the balcony which is in most cases enclosed by thick wooden lattice shutters. These can be partially opened. In summer the shutters are presumably a welcome source of shade. But they do make the rooms gloomy. Some rooms have an open view over the fortress walls to the country beyond, others a more confined view of the houses and roofs opposite. The bedroom l was first offered was quite spacious, the one l chose less gloomy and with a better view but felt a bit cramped with big furniture. Rooms without balconies might be brighter. Bedside lamps good enough for reading, but not the other lighting. Only some rooms have a fridge. No room safe. Kettle in room. Teabags and bottled water provided on arrival, the former sometimes replenished. Wifi often weak in bedroom (two bars out of three), weaker on balcony; but almost no actual loss of connexion. Heating took the edge off the evening chill but did not get the room warm (temperature could not be adjusted). No electric socket by the bed. Curtains did not keep out daylight. The hotel has various different common sitting areas both inside and outside that are pleasant and where l spent much of my time. Breakfast is a reasonable standard buffet.

Nice hotel to stay with family and there are a lot of nice place to go in the hotel such as swimming pool, bird park, animal show, dine with giraffe and so on! All people in kind and always helping. Breakfast with animal view and it is one of a kind experience.

Superb experience. Luxury for relatively affordable price.
