Breakfast wasn’t the best but the hotel overall was great

Breakfast was bad eggs over cooked blackpudding over cooked. One. mail menber of staff was unprofessional in the restaurant.

Superb stay in a large and extremely well designed room. Sunday roast was exceptional as was the breakfast. Lovely, friendly staff and close proximity to Stratford upon Avon. Highly recommended.

The People and the Views as you walk, drive and stop through it are what made it such an amazing experience. Everyone is so very friendly and helpful in every way. Next time in Scotland, we will definitely make this part of our Holiday, again.

The bath towels are not good. They were very small and in bad conditions. Further more the hotel looks like an old MOTEL, that was transformed in a hotel.

I really wanted to like this place because it’s a nice setting, but unfortunately, the experience was marred by a very tired room that clearly hasn't seen a deep clean or maintenance in a long time. The Room Condition The level of neglect was honestly shocking. ? Walls & Carpets: The room is full of scuffs and what looks like possible blood splatter on the walls (see photos). ? Maintenance: Cracks in the plaster and chipped paint throughout made the space feel grimy rather than cozy. Sleep Quality If you’re looking for a restful night, look elsewhere. ? The Bed: I dealt with a lumpy, uncomfortable bed paired with thin, uncomfortable pillows that offered zero support. ? Noise: To make matters worse, my room backed onto the yard. There is a loud generator noise throughout the night that made it nearly impossible to sleep. Bottom line: It's a shame because the exterior and grounds are lovely, but the interiors are in desperate need of an overhaul. I wouldn't recommend staying here until they address the hygiene and noise issues.
