When we arrived we were greeted warmly by Loic the front desk/concierge. The hotel is right out of history but has all the modern needs, even a pool. The breakfast was great every morning and the staff were truly helpful and cared that we had a good time in Montignac. They lost a star because of a few things with the room. The tub/shower was not really usable. It did not have an enclosure, the shower head was below my waist and kneeling for the shower was not right. The patio umbrella was broken, I found that out when it rained, there were broken windows in the bathroom and the clothing hutch didn't have shelves nor drawers. This made it difficult to store our clothes. I would go back again but I hope that management takes care of details before I do.
